I’m just waiting for all the parts for my new machine to come in, then I’ll try and catch up. Hopefully a 2080 ti in addition to my 1080 ti will do it.

2070s and 1070 is all I’m running, no cpu work, but they’re near 24/7, especially when I’m gone workin a few days at a time.

I have new thermal paste coming cause my main system temps are...well...not cool. That 2070 is running at 79c and 230 watts...hard to exhaust that so I’ll apply the new stuff on the gpu and drop temps, plus some replacement case fans. I can’t blow at 100%, it’s in the office with all 4 of us home now.

Im casually watching Craigslist for parts deals. Might resurrect an old e5200 rig in tothe garage to  run its gpu slot on another 1070 or something reasonable.

I’m getting huge WUs now. Pretty consistently between 300k and 508k on the 2070 Super while the 1080 is between 120 and 210k. Don’t know who likes me enough to send those my way, but it’s nice.

I’ve discovered a couple things, if I click on the project number in the advanced client, it pulls up a page all about that project and who is behind it. That pretty neat. Also, I’m having a hard time sending WUs back to get credit and contribute to t hat research. I have some that sit for days r etrying before going through.

Classic round design, very nice.

Some suggestions/comments:

The word team looks weird because it doesn’t have the same curve as the sign. Either straight, or make the curve match?

Try with a white center, or a w hite center with dark orange outer ring?

I can try those things. I updated the Oppositelock to be in all caps, and I think it helps a lot. Also, the orange color is used by the F@h on their website as a central part of the website’s theme. One thing is, this entire venture is ultimately about helping F@h in a cool and exciting and stimulating way. So it’s about Oppo coming together, but to serve F@h and our fellowman.

Here it is with all caps. I have a plan for how to incorporate the Oppo logo, but I have to learn another Illustrator technique first.
